You Westeros boys are such babies about it. We'll get you a warm winter coat. They make plenty of stylish ones.

You're right about that. We are children of the South and of a long summer. As our parents and theirs before them. Some have not seen snow, but my worry is not from lack of experience. The false winter in the North was harsh enough.

Where the summer snow grows harsher but Winter is yet to come. We were only snowed in on a hunt once.

You guys don't need to worry so much, it only lasts a couple months.

That is lucky indeed. I’ll take that over a life’s time.

I love winter, but I'd get tired of it, too.

[vermax]

I had enough of it in a few short weeks. Months is a stretch too long.

Vermax was ill-suited for the weather and only found peace near hot springs when he could.

What brings you joy in it?

Your dragon?

There's less to do outdoors, so you spend your time in with other people. Long talks by the fireplace, hot chocolate, getting cozy with your loved ones. The most important holiday where I'm from, Christmas, is on the 25th of this month. You're meant to spend it with your family and friends, exchange gifts, and remind yourself of what's really important so you can start the new year right.

It's warm and loving, despite the cold outside. Or because of it, even.

I loved snowball fights when I was a kid, too.
