I admit I am shocked both by the social change and by the fact that you can expect to live into your eighties.
Adding to your scripture, if Nature is a reflection of the Divine - as I believe it is - mating between the same sex is not uncommon. Ducks, for example. And I have been told it has been observed in more intelligent animals, such the great killer whales.
Now, a man is not a whale of course, but I believe we are fools to hold ourselves apart from Nature entirely.
It’s not a given. But I’m in good health, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink much. It’s possible. Modern medicine has increased life expectancies by decades.
That’s a very interesting way of looking at it. But it makes sense. We’re the ones made in His image, but His hand and His love is in all things. If He had no love for gay ducks, there wouldn’t be any. Why wouldn’t that extend to us?
I work at a restaurant here called Dead Men Tell No Tales. It got torn up pretty bad last month, but once it's up and running again, you should come by. It's run by a bunch of sailors. You might find more friends among them.
