I am disappointed in myself that I could not provide you what you needed. But I think perhaps we must allow ourselves some grace. You are the first romantic relationship of my adult life so I suppose a few mistakes are bound to happen.

Slowly, but I think so. That's the goal, anyway. We're gonna take things slow. We agreed it would be a bad idea to rush it.

Melissa said Jackie likes drawing. Maybe something about art.

Oh, yes, drawing is a fine activity for young ladies.

You were right. The way things were was arguing more often than not. I don't want to spend our time here doing that.

Tim, I love you more than you may every know. But please know this, too: I do not simply agree to things to make you happy. I do truly support you in this rekindling of your love. I was hurt, yes, but I understand.

Thanks for saying that. I love you, too. That's why I worry so much that I'm hurting you with this back and forth and indecisiveness. I spent a long time lying to myself, and to you by extension. I shouldn't have done that.

I admit that I was very frustrated. It felt that no matter what I did, it was incorrect. But that is simply how life is, sometimes. I'll not hold it against you.

I am content that you still want me by your side.

Well, in that case, yes, I will happily make your decisions for you.

I felt the same way. I trusted your judgement but didn't think about your feelings.
I think this is the right thing, taking it slow. I guess it'll take time to know for sure.

I invited him over for Christmas, too. I know it's still kind of fraught, but nobody should be alone for it.

That thing with Mr. Giles was fun. Did you like that, him reporting back to you?

I know. He cares about you too. He proved it when we were snowed in. It meant a lot to me.

We'll be alone for Christmas Eve. And in the morning. And after dinner. Don't you worry.

Good. I liked it too. Stephen's out since Hawk snarled at him (i'll talk to him about it once things settle down...) but if you still want to do that, maybe Giles.

I agree, but Stephen doesn't want to get involved in any drama, and I can't promise him there won't be any. We were mature about it.

When or if you're ready, we can try. I can get Hawk to stand down. He got mad at me for snapping at Bob, I'll remind to practice what he preaches.

[ yes, he can...the things Hawk says to his lovers are unfortunately, outside of his control! ]

I didn't even mean to text him, the network was going haywire.

I sent him a photo that wasn't meant for him. The one with me in the hammock. And he was acting like he might not delete it without being forced to, so I called him a liar, and he said I was jealous, and it got nasty from there. And then Hawk got mad at me. It's a whole situation now for no good reason.

I left him an apology letter this afternoon.

Yes, I unfortunately had some things delivered to the wrong people myself.

Well. You probably were jealous, Tim. You usually are.

That was very noble of you. Good job.

I was. But I stand by what I said before about his judgment.
